Washington, D.C. – Ranging from the farm bill to infrastructure, broadband, and rural development – Senate Democrats stressed the importance of rural America at a half-day summit held last week. The summit was chaired by Sens. Mark Begich (AK) and Mark Pryor (AR), and was held in the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
